Yummy!

Just tried this recipe and and LOVED it!! I have always liked applebutter, and have been trying a few variations lately to find one that I like. This one is so easy, delicious, and a bit out of the ordinary, but I’ll need Grandma’s help converting it to a canning recipe! Here goes:

Pumpkin Apple Butter:

One can (15 oz) pumpkin
One apple, peeled, cored, and grated
One cup apple juice or cider
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Combine all ingredients, bring to a boil, and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Can be stored in the refridgerator for up to 2 months (but seriously, it will never last that long!) Enjoy!
